The Slaglite masonry unit is a durable, mid-weight all purpose block that has been manufactured for over thirty years and has been a cornerstone of excellence. This unit is typically a fine textured, sharp edged mid-weight unit with good layability and uniform light gray color.

Variety of sizes and purchasing options with price break for purchasing in bulk quantities.  (1/2 cube or cube)*

*1/2 cube and cube quantities include 8" x 8" x 16" hollow blocks, when noted, at the base of the cube for stability during shipping. 

All masonry units are manufactured to conform to ASTM Standards C-90 Type II for hollow load bearing units and C-145 for solid load bearing units.

The raw materials used in the manufacture of lightweight masonry units conform to ASTM C-331.

It should also be noted that the concrete brick produced meet ASTM C-55 Type S for moderate strength brick and ASTM C-55 Type N for high strength brick where moisture penetration is to be minimal.

All fire rated masonry units, based on the equivalent thickness procedure, are produced from lightweight haydite or slag aggregates and will conform to NCMA, BOCA or Underwriter requirements depending upon specification.
